Carol and a few others were at the park at 3:00 PM and witnessed an adult Red-tailed Hawk kill and eat one of the squirrels. Apparently this was the 2nd time during the afternoon that this had happened.
Niagara Falls this morning
It appears that the next few days are not going to be in our favour with light winds from the south.

Hi Walter,
I was at the park yesterday about 1:30pm for the first time this year. Only one other birdwatcher there at the time and we did not see anything while I was there. I later went down to Bluffer's Park to see if I could spot anything there but no luck. I've been checking your blog regularly to see what is happening and hope to get out to the park again soon. ----Bonnie
