Despite high heat and humidity,a decent early September count of 23 raptors was observed. Sharpshinned Hawks were the bird of the day,with 15 being seen. They came in their usual spot,over the big Poplar tree along the side of the bluffs. The days only Osprey came right along the bluffs below eye level,offering a great view. With a humidex of 36c tomorrow,its unlikel I will attend. Todays total of 23 raptors consisted of

1-Coopers Hawk
6-American Kestrels
